Creating and progressing appraisals is also a simple process - illustrated in the diagram below.

Where
green
  is an action and
blue
  is an appraisal's state.
The process starts at the top and works its way down through the 4 actions. The
Yellow
box tells you who can perform the action.

Appraisals Workflow

A new, open appraisal is automatically created by PerformanceHub for the current and all future review periods.

Towards the end of the review period, both the manager and DR review overall performance within the appraisal form. The form allows both parties to see objectives which relate to the appraisal.

Finalising the reviews allows the manager to submit the review to HR. Note that in order to finalise an appraisal's review all objectives in that same review period must already be reviewed.

Now everything is complete.

The manager and DR are finished and the appraisal is waiting for HR's final checks.

HR can look at the appraisal and if they are satisfied with the review process (an optional task), they can mark the objective as closed.
