You probably already have an appraisal process you want to import into PerformanceHub and your appraisal form likely has more sections in it than PerformanceHub's default.

PerformanceHub allows you to add new fields to the appraisal form so you can emulate your current form. These fields can be anything you want, for example, you may want to add a training requirements section or simply add a place on the form to ask people for their strengths and weaknesses. You can even add a field for one specific period to get feedback on something like an office move.

To manage appraisal fields go to the Configuration section and then the Fields page.

From here you can add and manage fields on the appraisal.

To add a new field click

New field

Note that if you allow the manager and the DR to edit the field, each will have their own comments box and, if appropriate, their own rating to provide.

Newly created fields do not go live until they are published. This gives you an opportunity to review them before they start to appear on appraisals. To make a field live, press the

Publish

button. The new field will be shown on all appraisals for the current and all future periods.

You can remove fields from appraisals by pressing the

Retire

button. This will remove the field from all current and future appraisals. Appraisals in past periods keep the field so you can always see what people have entered in the past or indeed allow people to fill in the field if they haven't completed an old appraisal yet.

Finally, you can change the order in which fields appear on an appraisal by using the up
and down
arrows to the left of the field. Your fields appear between the Objectives summary and the overall summaries written by the Manager and DR in the order you specify here.
