One-to-One Meetings

Many managers have regular one-to-one meetings with their direct reports. The one-to-one tab allows both of you to record notes from each of the meetings you have had.

If one-to-ones are enabled, you will see the One-to-ones tab in the main menu:

PerformanceHub will remind you to have meetings at a suggested interval (set by HR), but your manager can change the interval if required (so you are reminded to have meetings more or less frequently).

PerformanceHub will keep track of the meetings you have had, and allow you to take notes for each of them. Both you and your manager have a place to record your notes.

Once you have had your meeting, either you or your manager just need to let PerformanceHub know that it has taken place by clicking the "Confirm meeting" button in the meeting's placeholder spot.

PerformanceHub will ask you to confirm the date of the meeting and remind you to take make some notes. If you want, you can enter meetings you had in the past by providing old dates. Note, you can't create a meeting that's older than the last meeting, so if you want to put historic meetings into PerformanceHub, start with the oldest meeting.

When you confirm a meeting, a new placeholder meeting is created ready for your next meeting. You can use this placeholder to make notes in preparation for you next meeting, but please be aware that the other person can always see these notes. You can change the date of the placeholder meeting by clicking on the date.

PerformanceHub will 'lock' a meeting a few days after it has been confirmed. It does this to preserve history. Whilst the meeting us not locked, you can enter notes by clicking in the text box, or change the date by clicking on the date.

Managers can see a summary of all meetings for their direct reports by clicking on "Direct Reports" in the sidebar.

These icons let you know who has/who hasn't recorded any notes yet:

No one has made any notes yet

The direct report has made some notes

The manager has made some notes

Both direct report and manager have made some notes

If the icon is faded, then it means that the meeting has been locked and you can no longer record any notes.

A red icon means that no one recorded any notes and it's too late to do so now (the meeting is locked)

Note, meeting notes will lock 7 days after both people have entered notes, or 60 days after the meeting was confirmed.
